Application-specific notes for Kerala PSC

• Kerala PSC fixes the portrait at 150 x 200 pixels and the signature at 150 x 100. Their widths match but their heights and orientations do not, so verify width and height in order rather than treating 150 as evidence that the files share a canvas.
• Both files have a 30 KB ceiling and no stored minimum. The photograph is JPG or JPEG on a plain light background; the signature is a separate JPG or JPEG. Compress each below the maximum while preserving readable facial and handwriting detail.
• The candidate's name and photograph date belong at the bottom of the portrait. Add the text before the final 150 x 200 export, then inspect it at actual size so the lettering has not been clipped or blurred by the resize.
• A normal passport image without the required name and date is not the same asset even if its pixels and bytes match. Keep the caption area inside the published canvas rather than enlarging the image beyond 200 pixels to make room afterward.
• This record is tied to the Thulasi One-Time Registration instructions reviewed on the displayed date. Compare the current portal fields before upload, especially if Kerala PSC has replaced the OTR guide or changed how an existing profile photograph is reused.
