Application-specific notes for SBI PO / Careers
- SBI asks for four scanned images, not two: photograph, signature, LEFT-HAND THUMB IMPRESSION and a hand-written declaration, each with its own scanning guidance in the advertisement. Several other banking and insurance recruiters here ask for the same four, so prepare all of them once and reuse the set.
- A live photograph is captured through your webcam or phone during registration, in addition to the photograph you upload. Preparing a file does not remove that step.
- The advertisement warns that an unclear image among the four may cost the candidature, and — usefully — that you can edit the application and re-upload any of them before final submission. If a scan looks marginal, replace it rather than hoping it passes.

The live photograph is a separate registration step
After preparing the scanned photograph, SBI's registration flow also captures and uploads a live image through a webcam or mobile phone. This record is scoped to SBI's 2026 Probationary Officer advertisement and its SBI Careers application link, not an IBPS CRP application. What can block an SBI upload
The advertisement says the form displays an error when a file's size or format is outside the prescribed values. It also tells candidates to re-upload an unclear or smudged image, so keep the photo and signature as separate files in their published formats and check each preview before submitting.
